Thankyou sooooooooo much Joan for posting these for me. They are a joy. The first fox living with the man is very much like my pack leader to look at. I would dearly love to be able to touch him in that way but i have never tried to touch mine so they don't lose their instincts. As his fox was injured, it is lovely to see the relationship they have. The babies in the 2nd vid are sooo sweet. She was very lucky to get them on film during the daylight as i've never seen mine during the day.
Foxes are not welcome by many folk but it goes to show how loving they can be.
I hope to be able to my foxes on film as soon as i get a new cam recorder.
Thanks again.

It is nice to see just how much people in England love and take care of them.
I know you wouldn't touch yours as they are wild and they need their natural instincts....
......the babies playing are just so sweet.
and that man who took that fox in, just to sweet to see them walking together and he had a leash on the fox.........:guitarist

In all the years my pack leader has been coming to the gardem, I am convinced that i could have tamed him to that level but i have to respect his instincts. Tonight, he was right at my side as i was putting the food on the ground and i could just have bent down and touched him. I do so want to touch him but have to stop myself. Newbie was in the crowd tonight and she got some food again so it's looking good for her. :-6:-6

You could indeed pat him, he trusts and knows you.
Newbie has come along ways!
I used to feed raccoon mom's and their babies every summer and watch the babies grow...people would have a fit! But I have found that they are not a nuisance, they are a kind loving animal......I still feed two each night, as my stray, Shyguy, when he finishes dinner, I put out cat crunchies or peanut butter sandwiches on my front deck....to cute to watch them come up and eat.
I also have a huge bowl of fresh water and they drink from that and wash in it.
If you don't put a bungee cord on your garbage pails.....yes they will tip it over and make a mess.

I'd love to have racoons, possums and coyotes here. I don't think any animal is really a nuisence. It's just their feeding habits that hack folk off. A fox killing a chicken is no different really to a lion killing a Gazelle. They all have to survive one way or the other.
Since the introuction of wheelie bins in this country, foxes find it very difficult to get into them but i remember before when we had the type with just a lid on them, the clatter in the night as the foxes tipped the lids off.
Foxes have very sweet tooths and i ran out of jam one night and used marmalade. They spat it out :wah:
