Look...... I'm a simple girl (gmc shut it) who doesn't ask for much in life. I'm happy with many simple pleasures in life.

I take folk as i find them and i'm never opinionated, domineering or harsh so can i just ask Nomad to do one small thing in his life for another?

Nomad, can you get that Apache dude off of your signature? I've tried, i've really tried to accept him into my life i really have. Why a few days ago, i even named him but it just hasn't worked.

He keeps looking at me in that side-ways air he has in a threatening, menacing tone. He's got some serious attitude problems that i just can't be dealing with right now.

It varies from tribe to tribe, oscar. It is an important animal, a totem to many of The People. It is important to the Apache and others, symbol of many things.

APACHE TRIBE Thanks Chonsi.... I will look at that with interest. I suppose it's similar to the land gods of the ancient egyptians type thing.

We have a land god here that we worship and look to for guidence. His name's Gordon Brown.

The eagle is a very strong symbol for many reasons:

Animal Totem Energies: Eagle

In the painting in Nomad's post, I take that symbolism to mean that it was giving power, wisdom and strength to its wearer.

I love Nomad's art, I think it's beautiful. I collect Indian art among lots of other things. But I do miss the little roly-poly yellow M&M guy.

But why is your eagle called a bald eagle when it's not?

Our country is slowly being taken over by the American Harris hawk. Folk were importing them for falconry and they started escaping and breeding in the wild.

Your lucky to get so many. We just get the one here...... the Golden eagle..... absolutely beautiful but only seen around Scotland. There is a garden half a mile from me where a golden eagle is some-what of a local celebrity. He escaped apparently and visits an old man in his garden every day for the past 5 years for food.
