right i think i'm a kind happy go lucky baloo the bear type of guy

I consiously try to be fair and kind, Polite and firendly. i dont sweat the small stuff or stress over something spilt on the rug, i enjoy life and all its small pleasures:D

I find it hard (sometimes impossible) to forgive sometimes. I am irrtatingly reasonable and lack passion sometimes for stuff other people get really worked up over

Do you work on forgiving ?

Maybe 1 person 1 incident to start.

Forgiveness can be a tough one but its extremely rewarding and in a way humbling. It has a way of changing you.

Thats kind of why I started the thread.

I was wondering if people are aware of their shortcomings and if they make an effort to evolve away from them and into a new way of thinking and acting.

I think i am aware of my shortcomings,, maybe not all:sneaky:

forgiving,, hmm yes i do try,, but i feel i fail just occasionally,, i can say to that person ok its done and over with, and if they apologise most likely will accept it,, but i never forget and its always at the back of my mind,, i suppose even when sometimes another person may not realise,, i stop thinking of them in the same way i used to ,, of course it all depends on what it is we are trying to forgive dont it

In a nutshell.

I have beautifuful things that live inside of my heart and my soul. I wish to share them and touch people. I have a gift.

But because of my childhood and then years of drinking I desperately struggle to allow myself the freedom to be who I am. Im afraid and anxious and it prevents me from being love. I do try and I have moments and Im learning.

okay, okay, I'm over sensitive and my feelings get hurt easily.

If people show they care about me and ask me how I am and really mean it, fine, if not, I don't bother with them....and I can tell who does and doesn't mean it....it has to be a two-way street as I am one who does care a lot for people and their problems.

-I won't give sympathy to those who constantly have nothing better to do in their lives but constantly complain......its just an attention getter.:rolleyes:
