Ta. I'm aware of the effects on eucalyptus, but not details of other things (our (UK) heather has some resilience, too, to make a superficial comparison).
I think our braken fern would be a closer comparison. It's not as soft as heather though . It took around four days for that stuff to come up again. Ya just can't kill it.
I remember looking out across a heathered field in Scotland. gosh it's pretty.
The problem for the eagles is that all the rabbits are gone, and the kangaroos havent really come back yet so there's not even road kill for them to pick at.
