tommorow, what would be the one thing you would regret that you have not done? What would be the one thing you would regret you did?
I would regret that I am not any better and have given up.
I would regret that I had a stupid surgeon and I did not do the research I should have.

Nothing whatever. What would be the point if there's no world left to be influenced by it?

I agree with Spot. No point in regrets at all. Oh I have some but in the great scheme of things, if we start to think we should have done things differently, then we must understand that our lives would take a different path. I cant imagine life without the people around me. Friends and family. Who knows if they would be part of my life if I had taken different decisions 30 or 40 years ago. Doesnt bear thinking about.

Those statements are hard to make a comment to. Have you posted these things in another forum, such as health issues? I'd like to know about them.
There are things that I'd wish I had done: see the pyramids, intervene in some situations that I may have changed for the better. I wouldn't change things I have done because the cause and effect of those actions are what shaped my life.

Im in constant turmoil over learning to accept life as it comes and giving it my best shot and wanting to be something Im not. Id love to be able to stand in front of a crowd and sing or play an instrument in such a way it moved people to tears. Or Id like to be Mother Theresa or Ghandi-ish but Im not. Part of that is wanting to give and part of that is selfish for wanting to be special.
Deep down I feel special but I cant tell if thats convoluted thinking or not.
Whats inside, the part I want to share just doesnt translate well to the outside thus the turmoil.
Anyway yes I have regrets but I try not to repeat the things I regret so I can say Ive made progress in my life.
Maybe as long as Im moving in the right direction thats enough.
Maybe not.

Regrets, accomplishments, failures etc, just remember as we all walk through our lives, we do touch others.... they may not be in ways that are great like Mother Theresa or Ghandi but we have influenced others some way some how. Nomad you are who you are and be proud of yourself and your accomplishments.
Tater It is good to see you posting again welcome back.
Regrets in my life.... I don't think I would call them regrets, there have been some huge disappointments and some gigantic learning curves for me, all of which have contributed to my ever learning self, and what I bring to the table.
