Did you have one done for a particular reason,or just because you wanted one?

Who at FG has the most?

Do you see them as body art?

Do you think there is a negative aspect?

cubbie tattoo on the upper right cheek... and no you can't see it when looking into my eyes...:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl
I expressly forbid the use of any of my posts anywhere outside of FG (with the exception of the incredibly witty 'get a room already' )posted recently.

Folks who'd like to copy my intellectual work should expect to pay me for it.:-6

I have just the one.. I choose it for my 40th birthday the sign for my birth year. A dragon.

I do see them as self expressionism and they can be very artistic but of course there are negatives attatched when you think of gangs and extremists they all have there own trademark tat' to identify other members.

However through more openess and tv shows like miami ink they are becoming more acceptable.

I don't have one although I have thought about getting one. I like tattoos but feel some people go too far. My husband has a few and my kids each have one. I told them when they got theirs to think about being 80 and would they still want the one they choose.

I don't like tattoo's on anyone really but i do have one myself. It was put there in my early twenties. It's the name of a man who i still idolise and no it's not Gordon Brown :wah:

I have always wished i had never had it done and regret it deeply.

Not on my body.........but Hubby has one on one of his arms. One of those that he had done while he was in the service. :wah: No, it's not a girl or a girl's name.

I think if you are sure what you are doing and an adult you should be able to have tattoos without anyone putting you down for it.

It's no different than things that other peoples in the world to but it is an individual choice.

I was not really a tattoo person but as I got older I wanted to express myself in a special way. It took me a few years of research on what and who and then I get it. I do wonder that it will be like if I ever make it to like 80 and I get all saggy and baggy. LOL

It's about 8 feet long. LOL I will post a picture later today. LOL
