the pig race the AA grumpy column

Post by pantoandy »

hello and welcome back

well the noses are out of the trough and the suits are on as our political elite go cap in hand to the people for the MEP elections.

so lets have a look at the runners and riders and some of their policies and not forgetting grumpy,s caustic opinion too.

THE LABOUR PARTY - leader gordon brown

labour claim to stand for the hardworking british people and need to plan our recovery renew our society and reform our government for the future .

labour claims to be working for britains future

form

a total rank outsider if you ask me .

the party have had 10 years to straighten this country out yet it took us to the brink of economic disaster if labour got back in i,d show my bare arse in netto,s shop window.

this old nag needs putting down odds 100- 1 :o:yh_ghost:

THE CONSERVATIVE PARTY - leader david cameron

the tories claim to cut the cost of politics deliver more for less represent britains intrests in europe help clean up political asylum

form

should be a close race this one the tories have said it all before and done it all before but this time the BNP is right behind you.

a favorite of the punters odds 13-2 jf :-3

LIBERAL DEMOCRAT - leader nick clegg

the lib dems think that working with our eu neighbours to protect our borders from terrorists and international criminals also that cooperation creates prosperity

and 3 million jobs in the uk rely on trade with other EU countries.

form

the lib dems havent been to power for so long now that they,ve lost touch with british politics and should stay on the sidelines where they belong.

not even in the race odds 125- 1 :yh_silent

UK INDEPENENT PARTY - leader nigel farage

the ukip advocate withdrawal from the eu and vote against the open door immigration policy they believe in british jobs for british people.

form

personally i dont think that they,d have enough experience in mainstream politics

and some of their policies are the same as the ones touted by the mainstreams

and would possibly find the reins of power to much to handle.

this filly needs more experience odds 150- 1 :lips:

THE GREEN PARTY - leader caroline lucas

the greens policies are not just enviromental but they want to

create a new architecture for the financial system breaking up big banks and clamping down on tax avoidance which will generate £10 billion in revenue

create energy effency measures for uk homes schools and hospitals creating 80,000 jobs and cutting fuel bills free social care for the elderly creating 60,000

jobs raising wind energy to the same level as denmark by 2020 creating 200,000

jobs.

form

the green party the long hair. beard and sandals liberallists are not a party to be taken seriously reading their policies i think they,ve been smoking the funny fags.

how they,ll create all these jobs out of thin air is a trick even paul daniels couldnt do.

usually voted for by the retired or layabout students and teachers this old horse wont even reach the starting stall.

the hippies have gone odds 200-1 :yh_rotfl

BRITISH NATIONAL PARTY - leader nick griffin

the BNP are the up and coming party that the mainstream politicians have to worry about which is why they spread lies about the BNP to supress their poularity.

the people are saying enough and are revolting against our present incompitants.

the BNP,s policies are control over our borders, withdrawal from the eu, and our armed forces under british control serving british intrests.

retain the pound no to the euro, british jobs for british workers, british control over its terroitrial waters ,and control over its gas and oil supplies.

withdraw from the common agricultual and fisheries policy.

return british weights and measures , british parlimentand courts independant of any foreign body and stop closure and privatisation of our post offices the nhs or any public service.

form

the party of the people this is the party that most disilusioned voters will turn to to seek their revenge on the government.

i can see the BNP doing well out of the euro elections and county council elections should gordon decide to call an early general election or hold on for another unwanted year nick griffins BNP will be waiting in the wings

just a matter of time before politics changes completely odds 13-2 jf :yh_worshp

Hmmmmm :-3

Tend to agree with a lot of what you write.

Would feel better about Cameron if he would come out of his closet and tell us all he is NOT going to continue to take the £20,000 a year expenses on his mortgage on his home in Oxfordshire! Set an example for example :D

My prediction is that Labour will lose many seats however, i don't see the Tories cleaning up just yet..... not until the General Election anyway.

I do see a gain of Lib Dem seats but not enough to make a huge difference.

UKIP are all completely bonkers and i don't even hold them in the race.

Weather folk like it or not, i do agree with Andy in that i genuinly believe that the BNP will make great gains. I will make a prediction of between 4 to 6 MEP seats won by the BNP and another 18 to 20 council gains.

This will be represented by many a protest vote however, it is fact that more and more people are turning to the BNP. I have seen their recruitment figures and they are processing 200 approx new members every day.

This country needs to realise that the BNP are a very real contender and why the tabloids are printing so much anti-BNP hype to dis-credit them. Even our Clergy are coming out publicy to urge people not to the vote for them. Those are the voices of worried people. The results of the Eurp Elections will be the marker to the BNP, if they gain seats there, they are certainly on their way into mainstream.

He has a habit of putting his size 10's straight in his mouth. What they need is me as Party leader to lie, cheat and swindle the BNP into mainstream. I'd only be doing what the ither MP's are doing now.
