At 70, I suspect that I am one of the older ones, if not the oldest. But judging from the posts Paula, my guess would be an average age of 27.

I suspect that it's about 40. Some school-children who have contributed lately may have had an impact on this figure!

I mean "Olly" and "Beautyful" (SP?). Yes, I did "get it"...

That'd be a young 39, then?

From what it seems of the ages listed, I am the second oldest. Just turned 62, and in fact put in for my retirement today, (Takes affect 1/31/05) after working "45" years straight!!! With only 2-1/2 months off all during that time!

It's scary, but also exciting at the same time, as I will be starting a new life. And probably will be visiting the Forum more often. All you Forum Gardner's are great, and are helping me get through this transition period. Thankyou all!!! :)

I feel quite young now! The older you get, the more experience of life you've had and the better equipped you are to make interesting posts on a forum such as this!

Thankyou Suresh Gupta, you may recall (I especially do) that you were one of the first nice people that sent me "words-of wisdom" when I first joined the Forum. Back then I was looking for any information on Retirement Support Groups. (As I was confused and upset emotionally) As it seems to have turned out, this Forum Garden is quite a support group for me, and the members experiences and information from around the world is interesting, informative, and seemingly is helping me adjust.

Again, Thankyou all Forum members! :)

there are clues in people's messages that reveal their age? i assumed the average was between 42-52...people who have time to chat? more laid back, have computers and have discovered the age of forums..every-one wants to say something. :D

I have to laugh at this comment :wah:

Remember saying the same thing when I was 17, 18, 19 and 20. :-6

I'll be 28 in 20 days and only feel like I'm 18 :)

All people get "older", but all people don't necessarily "Mature"!! Some still act like children, no matter what their age. You seem to be mature beyoud your years! Being a teenager seems like it has always been an awkward stage, no matter what generation :)

Hang in there it does get better! (been there, done that!)
