Its great that she did but I have to agree with the posters comment in that article. What took her so long. There have been a couple along the way who thought this government had completely sold us down the river. Robin Cook made a stand and that was 6 years ago

It's a shame he died-we might have seen a leadership challenge a bit sooner. labour seem to lose their best just before they can make a difference. I always reckned labour's win in 97 was due to John Smith and not that smarmy bastard Tony Blair.

Do you really think that if he hadn't of died and there had been a leadership challenge, he would have done a better job than GB?

I have a sprig of parsley in the back of the fridge that would have done a better job than The Dour One

A dead budgie in a **** factory could do a better job than GB. I think by now he would have been leading a leadership challenge-indeed how do labour elect their leader, clearly the members don't get a say and the way membership is falling it's going to be the size of a bus queue soon. Besides you have obviously decided that a fascist government is the answer so don't waste your breath trying to defend him. Your credibility on that score is nil to non-existent.

They might have given a standing ovation but they still toadied up to Blair and brown.

They might have given a standing ovation but they still toadied up to Blair and brown. Smear campaigns as far as my memory serves me go back to the days of 'Wilson'. Nothing new is it? That's not to say i agree with them. I hope that old bint Smith loses her job over Damian Green and i hope Damian Mcbride is charged with Libel and slander.
As for GB, i will say what i said in another post. I do think he is capable of being a good PM, it's the morons he surrounds himself with. Harriot Harmen has done more damage to the Labour Party as has the pixie Blears and the rancid Smith than anyone. I do feel because of the morons in the Cabinet, the Labour Party is lost however, I do not want Cameron as PM.

Both John Smith and Robin Cook would have made far better leaders than either Tony Blair or Gordon Brown for the simple reason they has principles they believed in rather than being career politicians.

I can not disagree with that. Both had intigrity that is now so lacking in this present Cabinet. I despair of the lot of them frankly, probably with the exception of 'Darling'.

Mr Nowhere Man? Filling Gordon's post whilst he's playing at leader - poor Alistair just does what he's told.

Who is the supreme moron selecting the ordinary morons surrounding him? You can hardly claim he had no say in the matter.
