Pictures at a water tank in South TX

Post by BTS »

For those of you that have never hunted in South Texas, most of the land owners have post motion detector-cameras at various feeders and tanks to see what kind of wild life they have moving around¦.. check out this sequence at this “chipper water tank.

This goes to show just how much good ranchers REALLY do for wildlife...

This was the last thing they caught on camera........

Maybe it is not only wildlife that are aided?

Hmmmm I think my point here is I'm confused at the topic of hunting and then putting a pic up of humans (quite obviously illegal immigrants. )

Oh .......there's a mountain lion, wild cat, boar, dear and a possum badger looking thing................and then there are humans.

I think if it was a farm in germany and there were Jews or gypsies or something by the water tank with the topic as it is .................I think we would be in no doubt of it's meaning and content.

If you don't hunt in South Texas you may not be aware of the motion detector-operated cameras. Nothing about hunting humans.

Mags, I took BTS's post as meaning that many animals were aided by finding water.....And, not only animals, but also humans were also aided by finding water to drink....That's what the camera showed....

Let me get this straight. The original post specifically states that the reason that ranchers install motion detector cameras is to aid hunting, the second picture show a group of humans caught by such a camera but there is absolutely no link between the two?

It might not have been an intentional link (I sincerely hope it was not) but Fuzzy does have a point.

As I said, I do not imagine that it was the intention but the reading was in the script.

Maybe this is a case of Brits (and Fuzzy) being overly sensitive given the amount of fascist nonsense being posted at the moment.

I live in Texas, I don't get why there's more being read into this than it is.

I suppose I'm just one of Life's little innocents. I just thought, "Oooh! Interesting wildlife." For the first one and, "Desperate campers?" for the second. :wah:

I did pick up on the idea that perhaps Ranchers are accused of being bad for wildlife and this shows that it's not necessarily true. I don't know the ins and outs of the case though, so can't comment beyond that.
The crowd: "Yes! We are all individuals!"

Lone voice: "I'm not."

I think the second post is just some Mexicans that came to southern Texas to get some good drinking water. You have heard about not drinking the water in Mexico haven't you?:sneaky:

That'd be it :driving:

why are farmers in your country accused of not helping wildlife? One of the reasons we cull Kangaroos here is because there's not enough drinking water and fodder for wildlife (in epidemic proportions) and farm animals. Is it the same in America?
