Oh Elvis-what a hunk! I remember crawling over the fence of his Bel Air estate and snitching his newspaper, us girls got tired of waiting for him to come out and get it!

I haven't either but hey...there some knowledgeable people out there...we'll see how their memories are. My fave Elvis song is 'American Trilogy'....makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

I'll find something a bit more topical post the next time I'm looking for 'useless' information !

1888 Jack the Ripper claims first victim

Prostitute Mary Ann Nichols, the first victim of London serial killer "Jack the Ripper," is found murdered and mutilated in Whitechapel's Buck's Row. The East End of London saw four more victims of the murderer during the next few months, but no suspect was ever found.

I don't care that we don't have carpet down in the office yet, I don't think it's cool that the guys spit sunflower seeds all over the floor.

My normally overprotective father is on a lot of pain medication and he's sooo mellow right now. Here is a conversation we had:

AFS: Dad, Joe has some slightly naughty pictures of me on his site that I don't want you to see, so don't go there for awhile, OK?

Dad: Joe M? Joe C? Joe-Joe? Joey 1 or Joey 2? Not Joe M, right? It better not be Joe M.

AFS: It's Joe C.

Dad: *thinks for a minute before looking relieved* Oh. OK then.

I love my Dad.

I hope you are at work, because that would be funny! You'd be talking to a boss/client and your mouth would be all blue.

You should move further up north then Bez. We get plenty of rain here, perfect for your garden.
