What are your plans for Easter?

Post by Odie »

Mike and I are going to his mom's for lunch, his brother and wife will also be there.

no gifts nor chocolate buying.....we think its all a huge money waster......much better just spending time with your family!

We'll all be going to my sister's. Nothing major. We just use holidays for getting the family together. But I will DEFINITELY be getting chocolate!! My favorite chocolate is sold during Easter!! :p

Anyone who won't give a child the pleasure of an Easter egg is mean.

Easter eggs cost us a near fortune with so many kids in the family but I don't begrude it one moment.

My brother has a huge garden with a wood at the bottom. Every year he has all the kids in the family over and we hide small eggs in trees in the wood and do a treasure hunt. The one who collects the most eggs gets a special gift. It's lovely and i Can't wait. :-6:-6

nice and easter egg hunt for the kids.....our kids are grown up now, but used to have sooooooo much fun planning it!

I would always hide 2 because I had two boys, in every spot, even some places they never found them until months later.

they also got a huge chocolate bunny!:-4

and a basket with colored eggs inside.

Easter egg hunt at my parent's house mainly for Quin. Then a nice brunch deal & then we will come home and if it's nice out & warm probs starting getting the garden ready, etc. Seafood galore here...some salmon steaks, baked clams, and hopefully those lobsters if they are on sale, asparagus & salad.

Smart a$$! Albertsons.com Here in the states they call it Acme or whatever:wah:, depends where you live, etc. Salmon steaks yesterday were $3.99 each, clams were $5.99 for 50 & the tinned crab was $7. I paid $1.88 for a bunch of asparagus.
