My life is all right...

Post by Hisgirl_2455 »

As I look around me tonight, I have a fire (finally) and a great, well trained, beautiful dog, laying there sleeping and snoring, I have my health and some good music...

All in all, things are pretty darned good...

Yep, some would say I am doing without, but I have some love and warmth and good tunes, and you all...

Not too sure how I could be doing much better come to think of it...

Where are you at now, and how is that just "good enough", I mean when you really take a good look around, isn't it really "good enough"? I couldn't imagine having too much more right about now....

How lovely to hear someone truely contented with their lot.

Every now and again I remind myself that however hectic life gets, however many worries I may think I have, however hard life feels it's pretty good actually.

My kids are fit and well, my grandson is a delight, my husband is not just my lover but my best friend too, I have a roof over my head and money is there when I need it - I doesn't get much better really.

I'd just like the neighbour's cat to stop crapping in my front garden then life would be complete :D

I like your attitude hisgirl! Instead of focusing on what you don't have, you focus on what you do have. My house isn't my dream house, but I own it and don't owe a penny on it. I have good kids and wonderful grandkids. Mine and my husband's health may not be good, but it could also be way worse.

I am very happy right now with life. I almost feel bad about it with so much bad news these days, but thankfully all is good right now.

Nice Thread :)

Good to see so many that know how to appreciate the simple things, once you have that ability, real life can fade into the back ground rather than the fore ground. Life, if you recognize the joys of the simplicities of it, really is pretty darn good, no?
