These days it's difficult to see really why so many of us do continue to come here - it is a sort of addiction. Kind of like watching a train wreck. You don't want to do it, but somehow can't look away. We know the sort of hissing fury and unpleasant spotitudes we'll encounter - and we do have real lives, but we still come here. Very strange.

Thank you Pam. It's hard to imagine how I can step down any further and it seems to have been of no benefit to anyone, I might just as well moderate.

Both my posts were exactly on topic for Jester and Jab. You know quite well why they left, after all, so you have all the information you need to evaluate my comments.

Or were you addressing Pam? It's hard to tell.

OK, let's keep the thread on track.

I'll probably be banned for saying this but both Jester and Jab left of their own accord - Jester because Tombstone's investigation did not back up his insecurities and Jab because Jester left.

Anyone know how Babyrider is doing and how things progressed with her man. If anyone keeps in touch with her please say hi from me.

As for all our other members who have gone MIA know that somewhere somehow someone misses you.

I hope you all are doing ok.

I talked to her a last summer or maybe longer but her friends were living in a realm I found impossible to communicate in so I skidaddled.

She was functioning but I think she was struggling with some things. Like the rest of us.

I do miss annoying her. I especially loved it when she got tough with me. :wah:

Weird.... I am gone for a while, jester and jab are wiped out and this is the closest thing to explaining why they are POOFO...GONE... no way to search their post and see what happened. Reminds me of high school and a fight in the hall........... You hear all kinds of rumors but not many facts........

Can anyone point me in the direction to what REALLY happened (thread)?

When people ask for their account to be deleted, as best I understand it, the default is for their posts to stay in the database intact. Only if they ask for their posts to be deleted at the same time are their posts also removed. I find it intensely destructive and annoying when that happens.

Jester and JAB wiped themselves out, they weren't wiped. Their accounts are gone at their own requests.

That is, I think, what you were just told. For some reason you don't want to accept it.

Listen guys, were all sorry Jester and Jab decided to ask Tombstone to delete their accounts but they did and their is nothing we can change about that.

As Bryn already explained, Jester asked for an investigation to be done, it was done by Mods and ultimately by Tombstone. When it didn't reveal the answer Jester was looking for he asked Tombstone directly to delete him and Tombstone obliged. Jab then also asked the same request which was granted.

No conspiracy, no fallouts so can we quit the drama and get this thread back on track please.

Thanks for the Angel info Kathy

Liberalism is an easy road to walk down. You simply do not believe in anything and when those that come to kill you approach, you embrace them with opens arms.

Conservatism, however is a difficult path. It is one where principles are supreme and the realization that embracing the enemy gives him the opportunity to stick a knife in your back.

That has got to be hands down one of the most ignorant statements Ive ever read.

Talk about wearing blinders. Its almost cultish. Wow.

Monumental misinformation of historic proportion.

What on earth is wrong with simply never logging in again? Where does this flouncy concept of asking for account deletion come from?

Don't be so totally naive Kathy. Any account that gets "n/a" next to it is a public statement. Walking away into the sunset is quietly. Asking for an account to be deleted is like hiring a New Orleans Funeral band complete with stilt walkers and coffin bearers.

I've long since given up trying to make any more sense of your posts than that you're displaying yet more pathological ungovernable hatred. It's not so much a comment you add to the thread, more a background buzz. If I'm right, you repliesd to Wisey's query before I did and then you started chasing me as usual after I was flippant. It might be worse, you could have rabies.

Chezzie, I never said that you, any mods or TS were unfair and I'm not ignoring your thoughts:( But, I also have my own opinions, and I don't think that Jester's wrong.

My thoughts have nothing to do with the mod's findings...it's just how I feel. I was never criticizing you or any mod here in FG. I've always had respect for all your hard work here.
