Just recently, he suffered a brain aneurysm & was hospitalized for 2 weeks. He's now home. But unfortunately, he's partially paralyzed & has trouble with his speech.
He's only 37 & was in the prime of his career. He'd recently moved to help his best friend's widow out financially. He quit his job & moved to another state. Now, I'm afraid, she'll probably have to help him more than he can help her.
All I'm asking for is prayers & well wishes for him, as he begins his long struggle to regain some semblance of his life back. I'm praying & trying to keep his spirits up, but I can only do so much. So, please keep him in your thoughts. It would mean so very much to me!
Where have I heard that one before? I take this sort of thing as G_d's way of saying that he needs to stop taking care of everyone else for awhile and heal himself for once as he's now become "the wounded healer". Hopefully his prayers will be answered and he'll be back and better than ever once again.
This is going to be a long healing process and time of growth for him and he's not going to be himself for quite some time, but he'll get better and likely obtain a great deal of wisdom, understanding, have even more compassion towards his patients and others and be an inspiration to other sufferers when he eventually recovers to whatever extent, as long as he continues to push forward with his recovery.
