Grave humour-not for the easily offended

This reminds me of my grandfathers funeral when i was a wee boy. At the graveside it was realised the grave was already full. Same surnames different plots somebody hadn't checked properly. We had to hang around in the pouring rain while the correct one was opened up, coffin lowered in got hung up on the sides as dug hurriedly the sides weren't quite as smooth as they might have been-gravedigger had to tamp the coffin down. Afterwards we a were all very subdued as you can imagine old ladies shaking their heads in admonition. Then someone said " just like the old bugger, cantankerous to the last". It was an hour or so before anyone cold stop laughing.
