No, never hear of Saturday Kitchen.

Iron Chef is a battle between two Chef's in Kitchen Stadium. One chef is always Japanese, the other chef is a guest, can be French, America or also Japanese... they have 60 minutes to go head to head cooking against each other... it is a lot of fun to watch. Then there is a panel of judges.

Oh and one more thing.. they don't know what they are cooking until the 'theme' ingrediant is revealed. Last night it was 'eggs' all egg dishes had to be made... but sometimes it is tuna, beef, duck, turtle meat, squid, potatos, lobster.. it can be anything.

Last night Wolfgang Puck was the Guest Chef and he won.

GROAN!! My husband loves it... but I have tried watching it a few times

with him and... and... I'd rather read a good book!

Sorry!! Can't take the dubbing of voices and all.

It's prolly ME. I wouldn't be surprised!!

HEE!!!

You know, I really should give that show another try, to be fair. And I love

lobster and I did see one with lobster. I can only afford to have it a

couple times a year though.

Cass........when I first watched the show...........long time ago I thought it was totally weird........then it got better. Then I realized........or should say remembered that that these guys .......Japanese and Chinese are and have alway's been fabulous cooks! They're outrageously good cooks and have always been highly regarded in this culture. I love the show. Neato that you can get it in Canada!
