who is a Vancouver Canucks hockey fan?

Mats Sundin, who I am clearly obsessed with and who was our Captain of the Toronto Maple Leaf for many years has now signed a one year contract for one million dollars with the Vancouver Canucks!

His first game was last night there, although he didn't score, he played and looked fabulous!

I am seeing the only game in Toronto against Vancouver in February, so pumped as I saw him in person and at a game here last December at the ACC when he played for Toronto! This game should be awesome, with Leaf fans cheering him!:guitarist:guitarist:guitarist

as a Toronto Maple Leaf

now as a Vancouver Canuck, still as hot as ever!:guitarist:guitarist:guitarist

I love hockey.

I just gave my (30 year old) Maple Leaf jersey to my daughter a couple of weeks ago. She plans to wear it to local games and says she'll be the envy of many.

When hubby and I were first dating, he introduced me to the game. Little did he know that I would so take to the games. We eventually were going to at least 3 games a week. The Cleveland Barons are no longer, but I gave her that jersey and teeshirt also.

I did similar at an album signing with all The Stranglers there as well. Travelled for hours and queued for hours.

well, last night at the ACC with my son Sean, was the best it could be, the leafs cheered on as their Captain appeared in Toronto, now as a Vancouver Canuck.

The opening was a special tribute to Mats with pictures of him on the trinitron and crowds stood up and cheered a standing ovation to have him back on leaf ice!
