Odie;1126074 wrote: did some sort of scans......injection.......15 minute wait.....more different scans and I was out in 45 minutes........no biggy at all!:D
sure was an easier way than 15 years ago! Had to go there and have an injection and come back in 3 hours!:-5:-5
that radiation pill the gave me yesterday was a new way of doing it for me.
Mike drove me both days, so no parking fees at the hospital!:D
He just stayed by the entrance.:sneaky:
I'm glad it was easier than the last time. Was it dye they injected for a contrast scan? What is the radiation pill supposed to do?

the radiation pill is like x-rays, only a pill form.....no idea what it was supposed to do, but I did ask what was the pill they were giving me.....just in case.

one more doctors visit over with, god, tis been 3 days in a row this week!~
Had shock treatments on my hand where my fingers are tingly, elbow, shoulder and other hand, no biggy.......was actually fun........sore now though..actually not treatments..........shocks to find out if there was nerve damage.
no nerve damage in my hand, its just a bit inflamed.
he was shocked that I found it interesting and not painful whatsoever, apparently others cannot handle it.
guess I am a tough ol bird going through so much crap over the years.

That's like saying a root canal is fun stuff.:wah:
and they will give me Tylenol. 2 for pain........but that upsets my stomach...so will google some that don't.
Oh good, you're getting a general...at least it won't hurt while they're doing it. There are tons of other pain relievers out there, I hope you can find one that works without giving you a tummy ache.
Yesterday's surgery went well except for losing an ovary to endometriosis, but it should help in the long run. But damn! I'm in so much pain right now that only got around 4hrs sleep and that always intensifies the pain, so I'm headed back in to bed soon.

The doc gave me some Percocet, but you know me and meds. I'm also on a strong anitbiotic to make sure I don't get any infections. Personally I liked the happy drugs they gave me right before the surgery...those are always good! :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl
sorry to hear that you are in such pain shelbell. stay off your feet as much as you can and take your meds. You need to eat too to keep up your strength. Take care and rest. :-6

Thanks Sunshine...I've been taking very easy which is nice, but boring. :wah: The pain now is worth it if it helps get rid of the pain long term. :-6

Two doctor appts tomorrow. One with the pain specialist so I can tell him again that the meds are not working. One with the gyno doc to see how I'm healing after my Thursday surgery. I'm so sick and tired of doctors and I just want to give up on them...it seems like such a waste of time. :-5:-1

don't give up, look how well you came through your surgery, and hopefully that will take much of the pain away.:-4
