Good morning Idgie, yep our daughter in NE called us, school was cancelled by them yesterday, & today they had a 90 minute delay! She's not liking the cold at all, & is not a happy camper!!! :wah:

No, but our grandaughter is a happy camper when school is cancelled! Yes they too are expecting more snow tomorrow, & again on Sunday!

Today, they're predicting a cold chill here, they said it's only going to reach 78! :wah:

Oh Cars, you know just how to twist that knife......................

It's in the low 20's here and the snow has not let up since yesterday. I'm currently snowbound as I cannot get down the drive, nor would I want to as the roads are still all snow covered.

So, I think I should have tlw to keep me company (hubby is in California).

I do feel for you Kindle, I've been there, done that!!!

For 45 years shoveling the drive for 2 hours, then driving 22 miles at 15mph for 2 hours just to get work in that stuff, as I was in management & had to be there, or else they would have found someone else who would! For 45 years I would tell my wife who was watching me through the window in that snow, that I hate the snow & ice!! And that one day we would be in the sun instead of that crapola! And here we are, finally in the Sunshine state during the winter!!

Then at end of May, through November, it's way too hot & humid here, so we head back to NE where it's not so hot, & much less humiditity! So now we vertually have year round suhshine! Which makes TWL & me happy!

And see, your hubby knows to be in a sunny state during the snowy times as well, what happened to you?

Next time tag along, and get some sun as well!!

I'm with you Cars:-4 How are you in sunny Florida....ya lucky bugger ya....I'm so jealous. I'm going to a wedding in Feb in Florida. I'll have a few days of fun and sun with tlw:wah:....can't wait.

Yes, hubby did pick a great time to be gone. He had an audit to do there and then took extra time to visit with his sister and brother-in-law. Everyone needs that one on one time with family members every so often.

Tlw may enjoy the sun but the brisk winter air is better for his health, so I'm gonna take him back...................

I was going to take tlw, but it's going to be 37 good Aussie degrees in the Nation's Capital today - a stinker, we call it. And Canberra doesn't have beaches (though you can swim in rivers here). I'm heading back to Sydney today - where it should be a bit cooler than inland, and at least have sea breezes. PHEW.... Please keep tlw cool.

Temps are falling and around 1 am the wind chill is suppose to be between -5 and -10. I think tlw need to be well round by experiencing all there is to life......
