I'm really impressed with her talent and how she was educated. As both a black and a woman during this period, she was unbelievablly fortunate that her natural abilities were nurtured. What a loss it would have been otherwise.seriously right???

Okay, I sulked for a while, then went and took a shower. I can now say, without fear of offending anyone that I smell only of Sydney water - that is one part chlorine, two parts fluoride, maybe a little sea salt, essence of defunct sulphur crested cockatoo - and some sunlight soap. Hope this is better. (I haven't eaten much garlic yet today either). TLW

Not bad, Kindle, thank you. How's yours? It's just gone 5pm here and today has been a bit cooler.. yesterday was sweltering until a big wind storm in the middle of the night. I'm taking a break before considering fixing supper. I had to be in one of Sydney's Chinese areas this afternoon and brought back a nice piece of barbecued pork, and some Asian vegies and noodles. I'm going to do a stir fry, with garlic and ginger.

Dinner sounds delightful. It's almost 1:30 am here and I'm off to bed now. We had icy snow here today. I'm hoping it is clear later this morning........
