Oscar says goodbye to Forum Garden

I'm sure some of you will be most relieved but this will be the last post from Oscar.

For one, I have to go back to work full time, another is that events in my personal life need my full attention and i will also be away here and there visiting relitives in the next few weeks.

There is so much happening at the moment that i need to give my full time attention to my personal life.

I must say thankyou to all the special friends i have made on FG espescially, Odie, Duckie, Carolly, Spot, galbally, gmc, mikie etc etc etc.

Thankyou all for your kindness and friendship.

I will e mail you personally to keep in touch.

Dropping back in every few months can be fun, it needn't suck you back in permanently. Everyone sometimes needs to get away and concentrate on more important things though. Have fun and remember we're here to divert you when you want diverting.

I just wanted to say a heart-felt thankyou for all your messages.

I can't really get to the bottom of why she has decided to not post here any-more as she is as stubborn one at the best of times.

She has a massive battle on her hands in her personal life at the moment which is to take months of preparation and hard work and she does need to concentrate on getting that right.... and winning.

Events over the past year in her personal life have put her in a spot-light that she did not want or need and they have taken their toll.

I am going to do all i can to talk her into coming back on FG as she has made many close friends which has given her enormous pleasure and i don't want her to lose that.

I hope she changes her mind. It is a sad day on the FG when we lose a really great member and it has been a pleasure getting to know Oscar. I will have to go and get a card and mail it to her and give her a cyber hug from Ducky.:-4

that’s a genuine shame, i was just enjoying unravelling your amazing adventures and getting used to you and the way that you put your boxing gloves on and spar and joust with everyone (including me), but (like others) i have to agree that the real world sometimes just has to take complete precedence over the joys of cyber camaraderie, banter and chit chat, but i will miss you too. you certainly know how to have a good ruck and your repartee is stunning.your as tough as old boots and very funny with it and things wont be the same.

in my humble opinion you are an interesting, spontaneous and knowledgeable character Oscar who seems to have much to give and a genuine desire to get out there and get involved in highlighting the unfairness and stupidity of our society and badger and call to question those that (supposedly) run the show and i admire that trait in you immensely. i will keep a watch out on question time hoping that you make an appearance one day and give those sneaky, conniving lieing politico’s a good bashing and get to the truth about what’s going on, after all, the truth is out there, but they just don’t want us to know what it is. reading your outspoken opinions and beliefs have been hugely interesting and entertaining to me and i really hope you come back soon, re-charged and up for a scrap with the best of us (I still want to know the in's and out's of a cats bum about that Battersea gig:wah::wah::wah: )

Thankyou all of you. I have just posted my last thread 'Oscar comes clean'. It will explain what i have coming up in the next few months and how stressfull it all is. Something i am now back on the tranqs over.

I have had an awful yrar and i face another one, it was only FG and the great people i met on here that helped me through. Unfortunately that was ruined for me yesterday by one nasty comment too many.

Thankyou all gain, I will hope to get over my tantrum and return one day. You have all been great friends and have taken my mind off so much stress and troubles i have had last year.

Oscar trust me when I say this. I have walked in your shoes many times regarding nasty comments and at times have cried buckets and swore I would never come back on here again.Some comments looking back may have been in order but others were not but either way at the time I was sure hurt thats for sure.Its part of Forum Life I guess and either we learn to give back what we recieve.....turn a blind eye or just delete ourselves.You give as well as take it babe and I have admired at times the way you have stood up to Members on certain issues.

You have alot going on in your RL right now and your on a low and when we are like that comments that are made to us hurt and upset us so much more than if we had a clear mind or we are at our best.I am so sure that comment was not meant to drive you away from here or even be nasty just like some comments you may have made to people over these last months.

I have always liked you even at times when I may have appeared I didn't and you have become a very popular Member here.You cant please everyone all the time thats for sure and even nice people can be wrong ye know and make wrong comments to another Member.We have all done it and I have made a good Friend on here from the most unlikely start you would dream of.We have to move on from cruel comments....from what we feel are uncalled for ones....because if we dont we make ourselves so unhappy......just like you are now.

You have to do what you feel is right for you at this moment.Your hurting of that I know and can see.... but so are some of your friends here for losing their friend.

Have a rest from here if you have to and see how you get on but dont delete yourself until you are sure that is what you really want.....no matter what you decide hopefully we will not lose touch;)
