Yes, especially when my team is playing. Unfortunately they lost and are outta the playoffs...I'm very depressed about this.

TRAFFIC, thought it might CALM down after the first of the year. NOPE:driving: In the small town i live in. I have to go to the city for almost everything. Gas is SLOWLY going back up. Hope it won't go CRAZY like last summer:-5. But did go to the Goodwill's. found some cool French Quarter sketches.(FRAMED) Next to nothing.

They are dated 1962.

do you mean central air conditioning?

yes it can be expensive, but get 3 - -5 quotes......and make sure they don't try and sell you a larger unit than what you need.

If you have an upstairs in your home, no matter what they say, it will not come upstairs, it will, but just a small tad, so don't let them talk you into a bigger unit saying it will do the upstairs.

For ours, its was 1500.00 for 1100 sq foot home.

I'm dreading it but I know it's coming soon, even tho the a/c is running ok in the summers. Problem is, my central air unit it 26yrs old.

This is gonna be a long day. I need to go out and shovel the snow before the freezing rain gets here and will make it impossible to shovel. I've made about 10 calls to doctors offices and the pharmacy already. I need to finish my dishes so I'll have the sink to clean both the fish tank and the turtle tank....the turtle tank takes about 2hrs...and it smells. I'm tired and don't feel like doing any of this. *sigh*

Vent of the day....my truck was supposed to be inspected today but the guy only was gonna be there till noon so have to wait till Monday and then I decided ok, I'll take my daughter's car and go to drive it and bump:-5, yeah, a nice flat tire:mad:, well I had to take my uninsured vehicle out:mad: not far mind you but thought ok daughter is sleeping and won't be going anywhere in her car....WRONG!!!! She took it out with a flat tire

...and couldn't figure out what was wrong with it:-2, duh you idiot it has a flat tire. She got the car home and finally figured out what was wrong with it.

We called AAA and they came and fixed it and the guy is asking my daughter "what did you do"?:wah: Nevermind. When she came into the house I was like "don't you feel like the biggest doofus"?:wah:

What a blah, yet busy day. First had to deal with insurance and pharmacy to get all my meds covered. Then I had to get the shoveling done since it was only about 3". Of course we have a band of snow going over us again and are expecting another 3". Also had to take daughter to a pep band concert at school, and of course I'm stuck with the HUGE van that is rear wheel drive and on our roads I completely expected to get stuck. UGH!

Worked on my turtle tank for a long time...must have taken me 3hrs. the end of the hose we use decided it didn't wanna co-operate and kept popping off and getting the kitchen soaked....including me. I changed rocks in there too cuz my big girl couldn't stretch out completely on the old ones...well, she has no idea what to do with the new big rock.

Cleaned the fish tank without any problems!!! It's a miracle!!!! :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

Now the damn big turtle keeps knocking one of the filters off...I think she just wants attention. *sigh*

Whine for the Weekend : Someone in FG called me a racist. I feel sooooo offended. My ex fiance was Canadian and a lot of my friends are foreigners so I know I'm not a racist. Why are some people just so cruel and are quick to judge others even though they barely know them ????

Some people are very sensitive when it comes to race. I was brought up in a VERY racist family. I raised my girls to not be racist and would never let anyone make racist comments around them. I have black in-laws that are family. If anyone gets nasty about blacks or think I may be racist, I tell them to meet my grandson:
