I had to share this with you guys my dad must be having a late mid-life crisis!! He's 74 and has just been and bought himself a pushbike~!!!!
It must be at least 25years since he last rode one!! He's told my mum he wants to get more excersise which is fine but i'm having really horrible visions of him either falling off and breaking something or getting knocked off by a car,bus or lorry!!!

lol i've just spoken to him on the phone when i told him i was worried he told me he was over 21 and therefore old enough to do what he wanted:wah: And to mind my own beeswax am still laughing bless him i hope i'm as feisty at his age(god help my kids!!)

Not to worry. I live in a community of over 3,000 physically active seniors, half of whom own and ride bikes. Good on your dad for doing so. Falling off a bike is better than falling out of a wheel chair. I'm off for my bike ride.

Maybe you're right about a mid-life crisis. that means he's got another 70+ to go! When you visit, rent or buy a bike for yourself & go riding with him.
