They don't mention Pucklechurch nor Conham Common neither. I used to pick mushrooms there just before dawn for breakfast, a pound or so between six of us. I agree with choosing Bristol over Bath as a place to visit, Bath's crowded and once you've seen the half-dozen sights you're left with a crowded overpriced trap to find your way out of. Mind you, there's not many places apart from the Folk House where you'd get much change from £2 for a coffee or soup these days in the centre here. Wicked, I call it.

When flower power came along I stood for Human Rights, marched around for peace and freedom, had some nooky every night - we took it serious.

I think Bath has become too commercialised. I can't remember the name of it but Mr O and myself often visit a small french cafe round the back of the shops.

The new Spa for me was a huge let down after the long wait.

I find Clifton in Bristol far more historically interesting.

Aaahhh Dear old Pucklechurch. What a lovely prison they have there?

Of Course, Pucklechurch was damaged by the murder of the Star publican 'Bob Todd'. A beautiful village and we considered moving there recently.

Have you been to the new developement Cabot's Circus yourself? I have yet to visit.

Just take the M32 straight into Bristol.

I'm not a native of Bristol but as Spot will agree, it is rather 'Lush'.

I can actually reccomend it for a holiday if you like history and the wildlife is amazing, but that's enough about Fishponds. The zoo is incredible and where 'Johnny Morris' filmed his amazing series in the 60's.

Au contraire madame, I am knowing well that yourself is attempting (unsuccessfully (as usual)) to be extracting the Michael.

Keep trying and keep taking the tablets.

My goodness that was a while back! Before the M5 was built the only way south was either over the Clifton Suspension bridge (for those that could find the way) or down Gloucester Road, through the centre and out along Bedminster Down. When you think that every tourist going from the North and the Midlands had to drive that way if they weren't on the train, pulling their caravans as like as not, you'll see why the M5 was such an exciting alternative to the A38.

You know what they did? They did the same as with the M1. They built it two lane and then had ten years worth of closures upgrading it to three, the prats.

I'm not sure if it's true Spot, but i heard that the Clifton suspension Bridge has it's own police suicide watch as it's beginning to rival Beachy Head.

What a sight that was that day.. seeing Concorde come home over the Suspension Bridge with a Spitfire.? Only in Bristol.

They're both about one a month, half the rate of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. Clifton Suspension Bridge has a direct line phone to the Samaritans at each end.

Well, I never knew that. How considerate Brunel was to think of that?

Don't mention Bloody Avonmouth Bridge. Mr Oscar actually broke down in a Ford i must add, right in the middle of it at about 3 in the morning. The plod were very quick on the scene, not to help, but to nick him. They had to drop it in the end as they couldn't start the car. Nice try though Plod.

Mr O also broke down in Hartcliffe once just as it was getting dark. I don't want to diss Heartcliffe but i told him to run for his life.

As you will have guessed, by the next day, it was on fire and the plod wanted £100 to tow it to safety.
