Well, I call my kids slugs when their sitting around not doing any chores, leaving a day's worth of dishes for me to come home to..................

Oh, it was supposed to be nice names...................

Well, they were nice to me yesterday for my birthday, but I still washed the dishes!

Bryan will call me his "little (verb)ing lady." For example, today I was his "little singing lady." It's often shortened to just lady or sometimes "dama."

I call him "lover." *blush*

the female C-word is by far the ugliest word in the english language.

worse than an N-bomb, which is very bad.

surely it would depend on the context? You can call your loved one anything as long as both parties know it's all in jest and affectionate. You need to be able to laugh at yourselves and each other.

Or maybe that's where I'm going wrong...?! :-2 :wah:

I have an American webster dictionary on my computer. When am wrong a little line forms underneath of the word. But sometimes like rightnow I am distracted since my toddler is trying to make her way onto my tredmil. and I am typing and trying to keep her safe at the same time. So I don't see what wrote. Besides, I believe that people in England spell colour like that. If I spelled colour like that then everyone would be telling me to put on the spell check on. In America were I am, were I was raised color is spelled like that. I don't critize people for spelling things different from what I was tought.

Some people spell clare meaning clear the same.
