I had a lovely Christmas until dinner. I broke off the back molar, and there are no emergency dentists open until tomorrow. I called the ER on the phone, they said if I went down there they would give me pain killers, but a couple hours wait for that? I don't think so, I will just be miserable until the morning when I can start calling dentists. (and no, my dentist did not return my emergency call, but it is Christmas, she can be out of town-but she only had a number, not a service)

I am sorry to whine on Christmas, but I cried when dinner was over, what could I do, it hurts. :-1

Thank you Odie. If she is not in, I found another dentist who will see me tomorrow down by DC-or I have a closer one I can call at 7:00. As I drop off the truck that has no brakes, so my son can go to work on Saturday.

I ate enough today, I won't eat a thing tomorrow.............

We don't have boxing day, just cleanup day....but I did it already in anticipation of doing nothing tomorrow.........

Yes, it hurts. I had an impacted wisdom tooth that hurt more, so I will wait it out until tomorrow, and come home and sleep. (ha-ha)

My husband is being good tonight, watching TV and not getting into too much mischief. I am going to pop in Prince Caspian and see if he will go to sleep, then I can too in awhile........................

The bad Christmas was 4 years ago, when he was in a nursing home. Nothing can ever be that bad again.

Ahhhhhh Chonsi, I'm so sorry. You're going through a rough time these last 4 years. Wish I could do something to help.

Hope your tooth will be better. I can't believe there is not one dentist working today in emergency:mad:

I had the tooth pulled this morning, so tylenol and codine is working well so far. I look pretty bad though.

My husband enjoyed the Christma goodies to eat though, and the kids too. Nice leftover ham to cook tonight.
