Good news he is coming home where your loving care will bring him around quickly. :-4
They don't keep you in beds long in the US either most surgeries are all on a Outpatient basis, you go home that same day or you stay just 1 night. Much better for the patient if they are stable and able HOME is the place to recover.
Now are they sending a home nurse around to tend to his bandages?? He needs to stay still with bed rest and lots of love.
ALOHA!!

"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming.
Carolly, when Chris is better, you can show him that my dog Louie was praying for him as well. Louie left today for his surgery and won't be home for Christmas. I'm so glad Chris is home with you and Louie and I wish him a speedy recovery.
