Wheew ! I feel a lot better after all that whining. I'll come back in again ( later) and whine some more. This is a good thread. I really like it.

Sounds like a pain in the a$$ Nok. One thing I've done a few times in the past is go on strike at home. I would take care of my stuff and that's it. When they'd start complaining, I'd tell them to get off their lazy butts and do it themselves...it usually works, but only for awhile...then you have to do it all over again. :wah:

I know what you're talking about with your mom and brother. My brother started some BS 8 yrs ago and of course my mom bought into it...I didn't have any contact with my family for 3 yrs, but I always stood my ground, they were not going to tell me how to run MY life or how to raise MY kids.

Sounds like they are trying to push you around....now it's time to push back. :sneaky:

- the rings, you can buy much much cheaper ones.

I'm not sure they would even see me there...I filed bankruptcy on them about 8yrs ago. I had a problem with my toes that no one here could figure out...it ends up that I had had frostbite at one time.

If we cash settle for my rings we won't get much...then we'll never be able to buy a new set because of money problems. I'll try when I get the new insurance at the beginning of the year, it's not that far away to go up there. Plus, I really miss my beautiful rings and want something to be able to wear on my finger. Also I've been to 4 different docs here and they've really tried...it's not their fault that all these things don't work on me. I always tell my mom that when I get to heaven I'm gonna kick my dads butt for passing this onto me. :yh_rotfl

Well I slept til 2:30...didn't go to sleep til 6:30am so I watched some movies til I could fall asleep. Today my oldest came over cuz she wanted some of her grandma's Italian cookie recipes which I have. Then youngest came home with her boyfriend and then hubby came home. My baby(Cody my doggie) is feeling better too.:-4

That's what I do a lot...being an insomniac doesn't help and no sleeping pills work. Go figure! :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

My insomnia is getting to the point where I barely get any sleep at night. I'm awake practically all night ( except for maybe 3 hours of sleep ).

I'm eating too much lately and I can't help it. Everything seems so delicious that even when I'm not hungry, I eat. I wasn't like this before.

The people around me keep telling me that I'm short, fat, ugly and stupid. I wish that if they can't say anything nice about me, they would keep their mouths shut.

Thanks for that whine time. Ooooohhhh, it feels soooo good to get that out of my system again. This thread is really therapeutic for me. :-6

insomnia: these will help.

-if you can't sleep within 20 min...don't stay in bed, get up and read or watch t.v...it gets your mind off whatever is on it.

-also put a little tiny fan on your night stand, if will you keep your mind focused on the noise.

-stay off the computer...although you think its relaxing, its not.

-no caffeine, hot baths or showers 2 hours before bed......people tend to think they are relaxing when in fact it raises your heart rate.

-go to bed at the same time every night, set your alarm for 8 hours later......you may not sleep that entire time, but eventually your body will get so tired...you will sleep....no afternoon naps.

and the people around you?.......ignore them, they are not friends.

try and cut back on your food, your like this now because your unhappy and sleep deprived......when we are unhappy, we tend to eat much more.

Here's a couple of thoughts for you. I also have insomnia, I don't go to bed until I'm so tired I can hardly see straight...then I totally crash. Insomnia can be a symptom of other things. Ask your primary doc about refering you to get a sleep study done...you may have sleep apnea.

With all the negativity going on around you talk to a psychiatrist about the possibility of depression...this could also be why you're not sleeping and over eating. It's so easy to pretend these things that you're hearing don't bother you, but if you hear them long enough, you will start to believe them.

The ones putting you down are more than likely to have their own insecuritites, they will make fun of, or put someone else down to make themselves feel better about themselves or to look better than you to other people. I've dealt with all these things and know it's not easy.

Lastly, know that you are accepted here. We don't care how you look, what race, religion (if you have one or not), how tall or short you are, how much you weigh or anything else. We are all friends in this thread and only want to support each other. You don't even have to do that, you are ALWAYS welcome to come on here and vent.

I'm sorry if I seem to give you too much advice, it's just that I've dealt with so many things that you talk about that it's creepy! :wah:
