FUNNYMAN Roy 'Chubby' Brown almost sparked a riot last night when he walked off stage four minutes into a gig.
The comic angered fans when he fled the stage after being heckled over a controversial gag.
Punters were already annoyed by the low level of the volume in the packed-out venue when Brown was jeered for joking about the Mumbai terror attacks.
Cranky Brown shouted "******* off. I'm away" before running off.
His shock departure left 3,000 fans – who had paid £21 each to see him at Clyde Auditorium in Glasgow – seething with rage.
It was the second night in Glasgow for the 63-year-old.
On the first night he had been hassled by an abusive audience and the comic promised to walk if it happened again.
Security at the venue had to kick out 16 people for heckling on Tuesday night.
Rangers legend Ally McCoist and Ian Durrant were among last night's disappointed fans.

he should have walked off and waited for order to be restored and continued with his act or is the continual touring getting too much for the 63 year old comic ?
the act is getting old and tired theres isnt many people who have,nt seen chubbys act and those who return see some new material but the same old act that he has always done.

perhaps its time roy bowed out and enjoyed the good life while the still can he could still make a good whack from a farewell tour and put his act to bed for the last time.
