I made an apple pie tonight and the crust on the top came out a little burnt on the edges:wah: but hubs says it smells awesome and is not burn't on the bottom which is good because I think I would go insane if I had to go back to the grocery store:yh_rotfl

no carpel tunnel, dam!

nerve damage to the neck, shoulder and two fingers are numb, she will book some tests for me, had x-rays done today.

- the x-ray tech said my doctor would have results in 5 days...but sooner if something was wrong, so why tell me this?:-5

- It's quite obvious you did find something wrong when you looked at all of the x-rays, then to take another one, but only on one side, and this time lying down!

Sorry. I sure hope you don't have anything like I did. I had arthritis in my disks which caused a bone spur which pinched a nerve. That's why I had neck surgery in March. They fused together my C5-C6 joint and had to detach the nerve from the bone spur, then file down the spur. I have this scar on my neck that makes me look like I forgot to wash my neck!!! :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl That wasn't too bad tho...only overnite one night and had to wear a neck brace for 6 weeks. Just be thankful it's not like my back fusion last year....5 days in, then a hospital bed in my livingroom for 3 months...or my knee surgery that made me stay on crutches, non weight bearing, for 8 weeks....then another few weeks while doing physical therapy. See? The neck thing was a breeze!!! :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

My apple pie was a complete flop for T-day. I used Lucky Leaf apple filling and I don't know what went wrong. Hey, but my pumpkin pies were huge hits.:wah:

It's the newest one and takes score. I used the Pillsbury crusts but have used the frozen in the past.

I'm making more pumpkin pie this weekend. Seems the kids love it for breakfast.:-4

Shell so sorry to hear about ur pain and suffering,got a few things myself bit of arthur in shoulders and a few more places but hey i can still come on hear and chat to friends,i dont like to talk about mine so i just get on with it.I was told I was a very naughty girl in a past life and thats why iv got wot iv got.Made the mistake of going to one of those soothsayer people lol.I dont beleive a word he said but it was interesting.

Thanks Ally, but my knee was a total success, the neck is a lot better even tho it's only been 8 months, but the back one didn't work....but I'm still working on fixing that. Yeah, that arthritis is not fun. I blew my back out when I was only 16, so I'm used to it. But you're so right, we can still come on here and talk with friends, it's a blessing. :-4
