He was a strange chap, not that anyone knew until his daughter talked to the papers after he was gone. Back then there was a Head Of The Household approach to families which corrupted the men as much as it ruined the lives of the women and underlying it was the absolute taboo on discussing such things with anyone. It's been a major shift, these last thirty years.

Anyhow, that's an aside. Back to the betting.

What's stopping me from expanding isn't capital, it's punters. I've put the link into my sig but there's still less than ten players. I need word-of-mouth advertising or I need to make books on more exciting contests. Any suggestions?

well i think at the moment the x factor and celebrity are more just for the british people on here,,, why dont you put up a thread asking other non british FG'ers what kind of thing they would like to bet on,, is there not any reality shows going on there at the mo? Ideas for Spot taking bets on.

1.Who can make the most posts in a day and NO games can be taken into account on the posts as sorry but thats an easy way to gain post count:sneaky:....no smilies...and has to be more than 10 words in a post:Dand the posts cannot be repeated.

2.Who can post the most jokes in a day;)
