Since we watched those shows originally in black and white, it never bothers me for them not to be in color. I still like the old shows much better than new ones.

The Munsters, Batman & Robin, The Addams Family. Yup, all in black & white. Still fascinating. I Love Lucy is the best hands down.

They are really dumb and all focused on sex. Boring. Not that sex is boring mind you, but it's constantly shoved down our throats. We actually ended up watching Leave it to Beaver, lol.

Probably should be a different thread but.... what about old commercials that still make you giggle?

We had a yellow pages ad where a dude is describing a robber to a police sketch artist. The artist is intensely sketching and nodding as the poor man, Colin Foo, gives full details about his eyes and such then says "ok, I think I've got it! Is this the man??" and he shows a stick figure holding a gun. Foo stands up and points, yelling "You not a artist... You can't draw!"

Cut to the yellow pages, art school entries.

OMG, that show was the best!

WKRP was my all time fav!..............makes me mad that they cannot put them into DVD's, apparently the 'rights' cost to much, woe is me!
Life is just to short for drama.

Rowen and Martin were magnificent and Goldie Hawn was, undeniably, sexy - all in all it was very interesting, but stupid!

Do you know where to get a clip of the commercial?????

I have been searching forever for it. Thank you soooooo much for his name, it helped a bit. Please, anyone who knows where to get a clip of it, please let me know.
