It's Raining
This part of Northern California only gets about 11 to 12 inches of rain each year and tonight the rainy season has started. I think the last time it rained here was last April. Sorry we can't send some to OZ. It never ever rains hard like in the Eastern U.S. When I lived in Tampa Florida it was nothing to have 4 or 5 inches of rain in a day, and along with it, insufferable humidity. It sure smells good, think I'll sleep in the sun room tonight with all the windows open.

It's wonderful after it's been that dry for that long and finally you can smell the rain. It's startling how strong a scent it has after all that while. Congaratulations Lon, enjoy it.
