I went ahead and updated the answer key for 2008 and added the latest statistics. Some of the answers have changed and I made those adjustments, as well.

I figured I'd better have that easily ready for reference for the next hunt. Plus next year's participants will find some answers there. ;)

Okay, so... we know that we need judges and we need to work out a system for the judges. We should also allow for spectators to vote, as well... like on American Idol, Survivor... that sort of thing.

The last Scavenger Hunt IMO, was not a game. If you look up the word "game", you will find it described as "Sport of any kind, exercise for amusement, scheme pursued. To play for a stake or prize, to maintain a bold spirit to the last."

Now I will look up the word "hunt": To chase for, the purpose of catching or killing, to follow closely, to use or manage as hounds. The chase of wild animals for catching them.

There was no amusement, and I'm glad it was called a "hunt". It gave members who don't care for each other to "chase them down" and make comments which were not in bold spirit of a "game."

We all got a prize, but at what cost? Funny to me how many who participated in the first "hunt" now want to be judges and not play again. Why is that?

I don't believe that anything needs to be explained about what happened in the last scavenger hunt.

Do we have a new guest for the Jerry Springer show here? Your post makes no sense, Trunk Monkey. How does your definition for "game" not fit with the scavenger hunt? No amusement?

I am now declining in the asking of being a judge for the 2009 hunt.

The postings here now are still going on about the past, this rivarly appears to be never-ending.

Some have proven that they cannot 'start new beginings for the 2009 hunt' as I said I had done.

What a bunch of nutbars!

Is this voting for judges another brilliant 'unifying' idea of G-Mans?:p:D

Why don't the unloved among us just strap targets on our backs and be done with it already!:wah:

Here's how I think it should work.... me and carolly will be the judges next time... "GASP! But Why?" you all screech:eek:

Here's why...

Carolly and I have proven that we are capable of bashing each others heads in without carrying a grudge. Matter of fact, I am pretty sure she has offered to leave me her FOC'ers thread in her will should our arguments ever reach the point of no return and only one of us survives...:yh_whistl me?...I've offered up my male pinup album in return...:yh_drool

WE don't keep reminding ourselves or each other how mature and awesome we are for moving on and letting go of the fight... we just do it. And we all know how hard that must be for ms carolly considering what an idiot I am sometimes...

----------

seriously... next time.. sign up, teams are assigned so that all the idiots that fought and accused end up on the same team and ....

then finally numbnuts will have a chance..:D
