I was thinking about this. I am convinced animals pick up on things we can't or don't. Maybe she knew that bridge was unsteady or maybe she saw an apparition that spooked her. Was the first bridge wooden too? Maybe she had a bad experience with a wooden one.

First bridge was wooden, too... AND she has a wooden bridge in her

home pasture!! :-3

Thanks everyone for the good wishes... it helps a little. (And a gsd pic

of course always helps!!)

I'm doing pretty okay, more just getting frustrated at not being able to

really do anything. I might head back to a doc next week for a re-check.

One of the hand-outs they gave me at the hospital said a mild knee

sprain can take up to 6 weeks to heal.... GROAN!!

Right now I'm pretending I'm a football player on the IR list!!

when i was a kid my horse Star went down on both front knees. well i was not prepaired. and dislocated my hip. well it was a change for both of us. Star was not hurt, but would not run at a full gallop again. still can't figure out what happen:confused:
