does anyone know anything about lumbar?
OUCH
Is this the surgery you had done?
I had surgery on L5 S1 @ 10 yrs. ago - I'm due for another surgery.
My Dr. called it a Tune Up... ya right.
Photo:
The Disc is seeping fluids Bulging- Ruptured- Herniated
Possible Annular Tear or 's
What is the Diagnosis here?

Not sure what we're looking at, to hard to tell but is that a collapsed disk? I've had a back fusion, L4-L5 and a neck fusion C5-C6 and my husband had a double back fusion L4-L5-S1....so needless to say I've seen a lot of these x-rays! Your pics are just a little too blurry to really see.

I don't know about the Lumbar area of the Spine. I do know about the Cervical Disc area I broke my neck in 1987 and I'm fused at C 4-5 and C 6-7. They used Cadaver bone that collapsed on one side.
ALOHA!!

I know if that's your Cervical/Neck - you have no curve
vertabrae's are fused together. Limited Motion - headaches
Tater - how old are you ?? these x-ray's of Cervical seem to apply to a elder.
Low Back - injury - Workman's Comp.?(on job injury) this was a accident ??
looks like a gun shot to the Low Back..
Carla - a friend had neck surgery using a cadaver bone
there's a Class Action Law Suit handling cadaver bones, tainted, faulty,
illegal etc...
I'm not trying to scare you - I wasn't trying to scare my friend either - but he ended with faulty replacement. He started getting rashes - skin problems and then his problems grew.
Are you having any side effects from the implant?
You mentioned it collasped - and rashes - skin issues? eye infections?
Come to find out - by pulling the Hospital records - my friends implant was purchased illegally - didn't go thru proper inspection's.? channel's?
A bone implant is just as serious as a Liver transplant.
You'd need to know about the donor....?
Carla - I hope your implant has worked out - my friends did not.
I'm sure - we have similiar X-Ray's to these shown. I know I do..
OK,,, Tater - please do tell..?

Wow, so what happens with the side that collapsed? How long after the surgery did that happen? I had my C5-C6 in March also using cadaver bone, so far it looks pretty good but isn't fused completely yet...so far no problems with it except I can't turn my head as far as I used to. I love to freak people out and tell them I have dead people bone in my neck! :wah:

I am not that old only 44. No car accident eithier. It is the lumbar. I will scan better pictures today and put them on. The cervical has been fused from c3-c6. They also need to do c7-t1. That is why they are confused, no accident. should not look like this. The work I use to do, only contributed to this a little. thank guys and girls.

I went to therapy today, they are telling doctor I can not go back until he fixes the c7-t1. It was too much pain for me to do the therapy. They really did hardly anything. I see surgeon again on the 15. I will try to keep everyone who cares posted. :-1
