Hello!

In response to your question about not being able to know when e-mail is sent to you while on your computer: Here is a few suggestions:

* If you do not have a Messenger Program, then get one. That program tells you when e-mail is available.

* Yahoo.com provides A FREE Messenger program. All you have to do is to visit www.yahoo.com: Click on Messenger, and download. When you set up the preferences, just indicate (e-mail notification).

* You can also download a Messenger Program for FREE from www. TalkCity.com. E-mail program: It consists of MSN: AOL: Yahoo: ICQ: & Talk City Messenger facilities ALL IN ONE PROGRAM:

This is the Messenger Program I am personally using: It has E-mail notification.

And it also lets you log on to all of the above Messenger Programs when you go online. All you have to do is to download it, and configure it to NOTIFY YOU.

That is all,

Derryck.

but Derryck, won't she need to get a yahoo or hotmail address for it to work, or will it work with her present address? I use hotmail, & MSN Messenger works great. I'm not sure it would work with a different email address, though. If it does, I say go for it, Abbey!

Glad I haven't looked for it then. Yup, XP is quite different, and older programs just don't work, usually.

Why did you have to uninstall it??

I've downloaded it this evening onto xp, I'm having no problems.
