Well Mustang, I may have some down time in early December when we relocate to our Southern villa. Sometimes they mess up reconnecting our phone lines & it takes a few days to get it all straightened out! So maybe you'll get a little closer then.

Friends of ours are leaving for the south next week. They too, would rather be out of the cold for the winter months.
But no Cars....TLW thread I think you own the title of King of TLW! :-6 *doesn't mean that we all won't try taking it though* :p

Yeah, we would like to leave before the end of October ourselves. However, we like more, having ("me' TLW &) "Thankgiving Dinner" at our Northern villa here for our family. It's a many years tradition ya know, so we take a "little of the cold" so that we can enjoy that tradition!

Thank you for the invite, maybe one day I'll take you up on it.
My wife makes a huge turkey with all the fixings too. Can eat for a week on all those leftovers. It's her favorite holiday! :-4

We always look for the biggest turkey, actually for the past several years, we have a standing order in with our butcher for him to order us the biggest turkey he can find. One year, we actually got a 33+ pounder!!!
Duh, it was so big it would not fit in our oven. So I had to cut the legs off, wrap them in tin foil and straddle them along side the roasting pan. :p

Now that's a big bird 33#! We usually get a 25# bird. Thanksgiving is a great time with family and friends feasting and enjoying good conversation.
And, ya can't forget the pumpkin pie! :-4

hahahaha.....nope, don't count calories during the holiday season.
Apple and blueberry pie are my favorites too. Just got done picking some apples off our trees today to make a fresh pie. Blueberries are in the freezer from our bushes for blueberry bread and pies too, to make over the winter.
Happy eating and...............TLW :-6

Hey mustang, you're catching up to my TLW count!!! Can't have that, now can we?
We left yesterday morning to go to, and now just got back from spending the night at our local casino. I was not too lucky there, but my wife was, she won a $"3000," jackpot!!! Man was she happy!!! They also gave us a $25 comp for gas for making the trip to see them! All & all it was great!

My post said, "My wife" won the $3000, therefore, she happily added it to her existing "casino" stash!;) We have no "major bills", only miscellaneous property taxes, monthly phone, electric, food, heating oil. We own outright, both of our villa's, our 3 cars, and have absolutely no CC debt whatsoever. Actually we're doing pretty well for ourselves!
Especially now, having TLW!
