Packing up for a few weeks on the boat.
Reading to Bristol and back so we'll be away until the middle of July :wah:
Enjoy your break as I'll leave you in peace until then.
See you all when I get back :-6

Reading to Bristol and back so we'll be away until the middle of July :wah:I'm delighted to say that my younger daughter and I were able to join Bryn and his wife in Bath on Friday morning and spend the day on the river, working through the half-dozen locks into Bristol Harbour and tying up beside the Arnolfini. It was educational - we even met the Harbour Master - and wonderfully relaxing. I went back as far as Keynsham with him yesterday afternoon. He - Bryn, not the Harbour Master - permitted his photo to be taken for the thread, the camera somehow survived and I attach it.

We've done about a third of the system so, although I'd never give up the land base and move totally onto the boat, we'll need a couple of years to cruise the rest.
