Villagers planning to stage a panto of Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs told of their shock yesterday after getting the script with the word "dwarf "censorded . All references to dwarfs had been removed by the publisher-with the characters refurred to as "gnomes"or "guardians of the forest"instead.The show director Karen Birbeck said "It smacked of political correctness ". Evan the name of Bashful had to be changed to avoid offending people who are shy -so he becomes Basher. Last night the Restricted Growth Association WELCOMED the ban saying the term dwarf was offensive - the drama group the cox heath players near maidstone in kent said they felt short changed by the script.- what a load of bollocks !! :-5 :wah: :-5 :wah:

OK where do people get off!!!! stupid PC people need to remove the sticks from there hineys and calm down! I like dwarfs, midgets, white trash, blind, short, tall, these ARE all suitable adjectives and nowns, and i would bring rotten fruit to throw at whoever rewrote the script that way!!!! grrrrrrrr.....
