Well- here I am on this computer. It has been several days since I have been on here and now I must get back from lunch to work:-1 ......What do you think is the funniest "late to work, or not coming in today" you have ever heard -or you can make up????

My mother forgot to wake me up.............................so that is why I'm late to work...................

My oldest spent the weekend at her boyfriend's house over summer vacation. She was supposed to be back at Grandma's on Monday morning. She called around noon to tell Grandma that she would be home that night, her boyfriend had not gone to work. When asked why, she replied "He thinks his boss took the week off and didn't tell anyone."

WTF?

On April Fool's day a few years ago I called my boss and told her I was having trouble with my eyes and wouldn't be in that day.

"Trouble with your eyes??" she asked me.

"Yeah," I told her, "I just can't see coming to work today."

I once got a week of by saying l had food poisoning from the staff canteen!!!:(

I feel so ashamed...

One of my best friends who works at a winery called in today. Apparently her and some other co-workers hit the "sampler" room after hours and she just couldn't get going this morning! Had a few too many "samples"!!! Shocked that she would call in like that, she told me she only told the boss there was something she had to take care of today...........................So I asked her "and what is that?" She replied "ME"!!! LOL.................OOhhhhh don't think she will be working there long!!!!

I really used this, and I am NOT a blond......
