Ok guys all of us have words we sub into the english language that is a substitute for something.

Let me start,

some yuck substance I don't know what it is , where it came from and don't want to know more about

When you don't know what it is you call it a "chingaletta"... and hope it isn't a real word in some language.

Calling something a 'Gizmo' when you don't know or can't remember the technical term.

Cowie or Dubrie are my sayings but if its a person that I can't remember the name of .....Female - queer one. Male is gadgey.

When you're at a point where you get weepy about something....you're "ferklempt." Where did it come from? Haven't a clue.

My Dad used to call things he couldn't put a handle on an "alforcusus".

I just googled Fanny Adams, its a terrible story and belongs in the crime section. Even though I've heard the saying all my life I never knew what it meant.

For other things, I use a whatchamacallit, gizmo, doodad, thinamajig, thing a ma bobber.
