Searching for New Posts.

I use the "New Posts" search facility extensively, to see what the latest

contributions are. It's much easier than groping around to find out which

threads have changed, and looking through them. Sometimes a couple

of pages of results are returned, but just now only three articles have

been shown by clicking on "New Posts". Is this a problem with what I

presume is Forum management software, or does the "New Post" search

use a cut-off date/time? If a cut-off time is specified, would it be possible

to change this, or use an alternative "Return the newest N posts" type

of construct?

Hi Bill,

The New Posts link loads the new posts since your last forum session. This is based on a cookie timeout setting - which is currently 90 minutes.

We think the best way to keep up-to-date with the postings is to following the "Latest Topics" link. You'll find that link in two places on the top page.

Or, you can get this listing directly by going to: http://www.forumgarden.com/index.php?page=latest
