I reckon he should cut the fuel duty in diesel in preference to that of petrol, it's the cost of diesel that will affect prices sinece very if any lorries run on petrol. I use a car for busiiness and believe me this hurts. In the long run it might be a good thing if it gets people thinking of the future when oil starts to run out. We use it for a lot more than running cars.

i think its sad we are all so dependent on cars and petrol and you make a good point about when it runs out but...
i dont think its fair that you and me, the ordinary joe public should have to line the pockets of BP SHell etc etc
i know a few people now who have been priced out the market, had to sell their cars because they couldnt afford the petrol each month....

I've just got back from shopping and Morrisons car park was hectic,
the queue's for fuel was backed right up to the store!!
I knew this would happen, why do people bloody panic buy?? :-5

Someone just told me that it was the same here at tescos.
Well, when I run out of petrol, if it happens, I can only do half my job. Hopefully I won't have my salary halved
