Does this work? My dog Harley and cat Sam get along famously, most of the time.

I love furry cats, even though they're hell to clean up after. Labs get along with everybody and everything, it seems. They're so smart. I used to have a black lab mix when I was a teenager. He was too smart for his own good. Kept "retreiving" whether he was supposed to or not. The neighbors hated him.

Yes, we have the constant duty of cleaning up tumbleweeds of cat hair.

I remember your beautiful children and a lovely picture your mom posted of you.. Love Harley and the cat eating together(that is rare to see, usually the cat wins that fight..)..

Wow, thanks again for all the welcomes. After I posted yesterday morning, I spent the rest of the weekend away from my computer... took the kids to the county fair Saturday, and went to the Air Show today. Beautiful, sunny, breezy weekend up here.

As for the Browns/Steelers question... I am a devoted Browns fan (even though I grew up in the D.C. area and spent my youth as a Redskins fan), while my husband, who grew up in Erie, is a diehard Steelers fan. Makes for an interesting football season!

I look at it this way, the 'Skins are my NFC team, the Browns are my AFC team.
