Ok summertime is almost over so lets discuss what drives you nuts about other people, you know, what they wear, etc. Maybe something you had seen earlier on this summer.

-women who do NOT paint there toe nails when wearing sandals.

-People who do not put sun screen on their toddlers

-people who complain that they wish it was winter(cuz...ya know they wanted summer , when it was winter)

-driving around with music so loud the pictures on your walls shake from the base in their car.

I hate when I nearly die saving peoples kids from rip tides. where were the parents? where the hell was the life guard?

Summer tourists who spend their holidays here and think it's okay to wear ridiculous and unflattering clothes that I'm sure they wouldn't wear in their own home towns. And why are they constantly eating, from noon to night? And why, when they meet you head on in one of the narrow country lanes, do they expect you to reverse your vehicle?

i must be a Yank thing. at most restaurants, around the salad bar, there is a sheet of clear plastic 6 to 8 inches tall. it hangs down from the top of the bar to about your shoulders. that way when you are filling your plate, if you sneeze, it'll splatter all over the guard and not the food.

I hate that little kids here will ride their bikes right on the road as fast as they can when they are only about 3 years of age and thier parents are no where in sight.so if your like me I yell Get off the road to scare them and later i'll drive down the same way and guess what?They will still be dartin out. It makes me mad. Watch your kids when their near the rode.

No matter what the season, here is what makes me crazy. Women who shave off their real eyebrows and draw them on. BIG YUCK! I know a lady who not only draws them on, she draws them about 3/4 above where they actually belong.

Black wing tip shoes with shorts. Even worse if the man is wearing black dress socks as well.

The trend of people streaking platinum blonde highlights into very dark hair...it looked good on maybe 5% of the people at the mall three months ago. Natural people, natural.

Those tube tops that have a fake bathing suit top sewn under them so they look like some sort of beach cover up. Incredibly unflattering to any bust size.

Orangey tanning bed tans.

Cut-offs in nice restaurants.

Incredibly visible bras under skimpy summer tops. There are a lot of options out there, ladies! Let's get with it. I also do not like the thong peeking over the pants look.

Guys with platinum tipped hair, gelled straight forward all over the head, then pulled straight up at the very front. Like a diving board over the forehead, made of streaky platinum tipped hair. What the heck is that all about?

We have a city in Ohio that's known for people wearing socks with sandals. When I see someone doing it where I live I tell them they're very "parma."

I was standing behind a guy in the store and his pants were down past his bum and his underwear was showing......I wanted to slap him in the back of his head.





But I was trying to figure out how he keeps them from falling down when he walks ???

I saw this one guy the other day, standing on the street smoking, he had a hold of his pants by the buckle and was holding it in grab-my-crotch fashion... that's how he keeps his pants up...so at once we have to look at his backside while he gets to grab himself in public...

my old man. if we're out camping or at a family reunion, he wears berkenstock sandals with knee highBLACK socks.

and if he can't find his sandals, he grabs his penny-loafers and goes sockless.

Ok, just for the record...I don't look down througt that clear plastic...but it's because I am too short! I am 5' 4 and that is right where the edge of that plastic awning hits me. So I gotta go above or below it. Being that I am not going to climb up on top of the bar, I simpy back up to look in. Don't know what you've seen, but I DONT crawl up under there!!!!!

Also for the record, someone asked what the sneeze bar was.....were they American or European? We Americans are so binged out on food bars its disgusting. Not surprised a European would not know......wish I didn't!

Summer things that are bad:

People "mowing" their lawn at "8am" on SUNDAY Morning!

"Barking"/Yelping dogs that are left outside all day long, to "play"!

Women wearing "Daisy Dukes Shorts", apperantly that didn't look in the mirror!

Men wearing "guiedo shirts", with their BEER Belly hanging out!

As for the Salid Bars scenario, there have been several exposays on TV pointing out just how nasty & germy they really are. If you have not seen them, "lucky you"! Everyone's germy hands (you don't know where they've been) touch every spoon handle, some of them pick up food with their fingers, unattended kids dropping things on the floor & picking it up & putting it back in the original bowl, it went on for 15 minutes of the program.

If you did see the program, it certainly made you think twice about going to Salid Bars. Expecially ones that were not managed by a supervising staff member keeping people in line to mind their manners! (Still have the 'handle" thing though)

Sneeze guards really are disgusting. They hover about two inches from your face, and everyone is breathing all over them. I can't imagine that if someone were to sneeze that they wouldn't just turn their heads...I think the sneeze guard is so much worse than if someone accidently happened to sneeze over some lettuce. I NEVER get the salad bar. Ugh.

Obese women at Wall-mart yelling and smacking their kids. The first reason I don't shop Wal-mart unless I have too. Men if your going to wear sandals get a pedicure. Dirty toenails that need trimmed will make me nausas. People who wait till the last minute to cut in front of you from the right when the road narrows and they have been warned 3 miles down the road. Was at the Doctors office and waiting to sign in but couldn't because the receptionist was in a very indepth conversation with her friend about their kids and their activities. It was my first time in this particulair office or I would have made a very ughly face or comment to the recp. I just kept edging in closer to the window til the friend noticed I was edging her out. :sneaky:

Sneeze guards were not meant for people over 5'2" tall. I have to duck to reach the food that is in the second row thus spilling the food on my plate into the first row of food :-5

LOL!!! Go to Target if you have one...

I do-I do - I do go to Target. I love Target. I also go to a Illinois and Iowa owned store similair to Target called Shopko. Thats how I can avoid Wal-mart. I used to go to K-Mart but they closed in our local area. :driving:
