Looking at that picture makes my jaw drop.
I remember running outside when I was a kid just to see an airplane fly over.
About 17 years ago I was at an Airport Manager's Association Conference. We had a Boing representative there who was telling us the 747 could almost handle a 1,000,000 lb payload and they were working on ways to increase it.
Where do we go from here?

Clint i have no doubt you would really enjoy the National Air and Space Museum in D.C. Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum Homepage...it's fabulous!
