I would do my job for free if I won the state lottery. I honestly wood.

I love when I can truly help someone, it gives me that warm fuzzy feeling. Like when a mom down on her luck cant afford an antibiotic thats $90 , so you call the doctor and suggest something in that same line, and he says sure and you come back and say is $15 better. And she cries and cant speak because now her child can have medicine because some guy up and left her to carry the world on her shoulders, or the elderly who have no insurance and you search on your own time at home on the computer and find ways for them to get their meds for free.

Or when you deliver them to patients homes who have no family and are total shut ins practially. When its christmas and someone walks 2 miles in the snow and gives you a handmade quilt out of gratitude when you drove to another store on your own time to get their cancer medication.

-When you hug a dying aids patient because every one else is afraid to, and see in their eyes what it ment.

-No I definately would do my job for free.

i like the feeling of helping those who need it. i like busting dirtbags and bullies. i like the camaraderie and backup, it's a special membership that only we understand. i like feeling useful. and i love the mental challenges of investigation.

You two are just tooo cool..........I loved working at the school...It made me feel like I had accomplished something new everyday! Now I work at a Fundraising Place.Hmmmmmmmm--I like my job - but if ya call making pizzas and shipping products rewarding then.............I guess its great!! :p

i also HATE the 12 hour shifts and stress! i mean killing stress! no time to eat or sleep. people want to fight you all the time. they barf on you and bleed on you. they kick the cruiser windows out. they are total assholes!

Being shown that people can suffer the most awful life experiences and still survive. And still maintain a sense of humour. Very humbling but very inspiring.

And when someone who has used our service is well enough to say "I'd like to become a volunteer"

I like my independence. Im liked, treated with respect and trusted so they let me be. Also its a very warm and relaxed atmosphere so the stress is manageable. I could do worse for sure. (and I have)

I really loved my job growing up. It was the absolute BEST job any little grown up boy could ever want. i got paid to play in the dirt with the world's biggest Tonka toys.

bouncing around in the tractors for hours on end. just you and your thoughts.

knowing that what you were planting was going to feed the world.

GodDamn, i miss that.

yeah it was great. me, Dad, and GranDad. each of us out there doing our thing.

we would start out before sun up, work til noon. Gramma and Mom would brig out lunch to us. and we would have a picnic right there in the field.

joke about the day so far what was left to do.

we would finish up around 6pm, go home stinking to "high Heaven"

and we loved every friggin minute of it.

Thats a pretty nice life.

Lots of work I know but not a bad way to go at all.

it was some of the most fun and memorable moments of my life.

I like my job as a teacher, because I like working with young people. It is nice to see their minds working and getting into it, and there is always enough funny moments during the day to make you laugh. (I teach 7th grade) And the best thing about my job is:

I like that I can make my own hours, show up to work in a bikini top and some boxer shorts and not be considered "unprofessional," and I love that I'm constantly learning. Every day I learn about another industry, or medical treatments, or about engineering or physics. And I get free lunch at the sushi place three times a week!

I don't like that my job isn't steady. I don't like that my office is 85 degrees and doesn't have carpeting. And I don't like that the other people in the office are boys who never feel that it's necessary to buy toilet paper, clean the bathroom, or put their garbage in an appropriate container.

well actually it enables one to get out one's aggression and frustration...if they go for me it's ON! heh heh

::blinks:: I'm only 16, but I teach a sunday school class...does that qualify as a job because I love working with the kids to make sure they learn something. I may only be a snotty ass teenage. Lol, but religion is an important part in my life, I just want to make sure they learn the religion they have been expected to know and well quite frankly practice....>.>;; I'm planning on becoming a teacher someday...So I guess this is kinda pretraining...I guess, and i just got a job on the graveyard shift...Kutos to me

i dont like my job..... my work is unappreciatd undervalued and underpaid....

could be why im job hunting!!

i put everything into my job that i possibly can and get told im the best in the team at what i do yet my company seems completely unwilling to recognise my efforts..... i guess not helped by more time off sick but then theres absolutely jack i can do about it and if they hold that against me then its another damn good reason to get out!

however having said all that, i do actually i guess like what it is i do and most the people i work with but the pay and the people i dont like are jsut ruining it too much for me at the moment
