I hate that time of the year. The only advantage is I live in a football-crazy town, and when the game is downtown or on TV, I know I can hit the stores with no competition. When my husband was in the hospital last year, two blocks from the stadium, Monday night football, Goodyear blimp flying over head and booming out all over the place, I remember he slept through the whole thing! I figured, better get out of this place by half-time, or I will be in traffic for hours!



I live for the real season in life, the NBA!

What can you say about the Lions? Anything you want, it'd probably be true, unless you use the words "championship" "winning season" or "Superbowl."

Well, actually you can use "Superbowl", but that's only because it will be played at Ford Field this time. Not that the Lions will be there, mind you, but it will be played on their turf!
